Get Relief

Expert pelvic floor and orthopedic Physical Therapy to help you find true relief from pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, bladder and bowel conditions, orthopedic pain, and menstrual cycle issues.

Welcome!

Hi! We are Dr. Melissa Thompson, PT, DPT, MTC, PCES and Dr. Patrick Thompson, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. DN. Dr. Melissa is a Pelvic Health Physical Therapy specialist, certified Fertility Awareness Mentor, and certified manual therapist, while Dr. Patrick is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist and is dry needling and IASTM certified. Together, we are Flow Physical Therapy and Wellness.

Dr. Melissa helps women connect their menstrual cycle health to their pelvic health so they can heal pelvic pain, relieve bladder issues, and take charge of their fertility.

Dr. Patrick is passionate in returning his patients to a pain free, active lifestyle despite recent or chronic injury and pain.

Our healthcare system has failed to provide patients with access to one on one, holistic physical therapy sessions to patients due to overbearing insurance providers dictating treatments to patients.

We're here to empower you to take control of your pelvic health, fertility, pain, injuries, and, ulimately, your life.

Women's Health Concerns Do Not Have To Be Ignored

Many of our patients tell us they are confused by all the information out there. One doctor says to go to pelvic floor physical therapy while the other says you don't need it. Your friends say, "Welcome to your new body" after having a baby, but you are wondering if this is normal. You feel awkward talking about your pain issues.

Our intention is to be a research-backed resource for women on pelvic health and menstrual cycles. We built a unique road where sex education meets expert hands-on pelvic Physical Therapy. We hope you leave here empowered to take control of your pelvic health, fertility, and your life.

What our patients have to say:

"I have been struggling with painful intercourse and urinary problems for years. I got to the point where I saw a urologist, gynecologist, and endocrinologist, but the person who helped me the most was Dr. Melissa. She really listened to me during each of our sessions and helped me get my life back throughout the past few months. I am now able to pee without feeling like my pelvic floor is tight, and I am back to pain free sex and feeling like myself."

What our patients have to say:

“As a mom of 4, I always thought that pelvic and hip pain was just part of motherhood. I finally made the decision to make my pelvic health a priority, and I’m so glad that I did. I had heard from friends about pelvic PT and I’m so glad I finally gave it a try. Dr Mel has helped me to heal my body in ways I never thought possible!! She is so thorough and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process at all my sessions. Thank you Dr Mel!”
