IASTM (Scraping)

IASTM (aka Scraping) is a technique utilizing tools/instruments to assist in soft tissue massage and provide enhanced function and pain relief.

The tools increase the target tissue temperature, which both decreases tissue viscosity and thus improves tissue mobility and flexibility.

When paired with the right Physical Therapy exercises during your treatment, scraping can yield faster results as the instruments add an element to address muscle tightness and fascial restrictions.

Some of the many conditions IASTM therapy can help include, but are not limited to, chronic low back pain & sciatica, myofascial pain syndromes, tennis elbow, muscle tightness, neck pain, and nerve entrapments.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping Therapy is a technique utilizing negative pressure by placing a cup or multiple cups on specific areas to provide both pain relief and improved function.

When paired with the right Physical Therapy exercises during your treatment, cupping can provide enhanced results as the cups provide an added element to address fascial restrictions and further improve blood flow to the area.

Some of the many conditions cupping therapy can help include, but are not limited to, chronic low back pain & sciatica, myofascial pain syndromes, disc bulges, muscle tightness, neck pain, and nerve entrapments.

Dry needling is an extremely safe treatment tool that involves insertion of a hair-thin monofilament needle into specific points directly within or near muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and bony surfaces.

The results range from immediate pain relief to decrease in muscle spasms and trigger points.

Some of the many conditions dry needling can treat are, but not limited to, chronic back pain, sciatica, TMJ pain, disc bulges and disc herniations, headaches, sports injuries, and so much more.

"I saw Dr. Patrick for knee pain. He spent an hour with me at each session, which I thought was awesome since I've been to other therapy places where I never really got to spend time with them. I felt much better after each session and now I'm back to going to the gym without any pain. I definitely recommend Dr. Patrick to be your physical therapist.'" - Zachary
