I help women connect their menstrual cycle health to their pelvic health so they can heal pelvic pain, relieve bladder issues, and take charge of their fertility.
Welcome!
Hi! I'm Dr. Melissa Thompson, PT, DPT, MTC, PCES. I'm a Pelvic Health Physical Therapy specialist, certified Fertility Awareness Mentor, and certified manual therapist.
I help women connect their menstrual cycle health to their pelvic health so they can heal pelvic pain, relieve bladder issues, and take charge of their fertility.
Our healthcare system has failed to prepare women for coming off the pill, optimizing conception, for a comfortable pregnancy & birth, & a smooth ride into postpartum recovery.
I'm here to empower you to take control of your pelvic health, fertility, & your life.

Women's Health Concerns Do Not Have To Be Ignored
Many of our patients tell us they are confused by all the information out there. One doctor says to go to pelvic floor physical therapy while the other says you don't need it. Your friends say, "Welcome to your new body" after having a baby, but you are wondering if this is normal. You feel awkward talking about your pain issues.
Our intention is to be a research-backed resource for women on pelvic health and menstrual cycles. We built a unique road where sex education meets expert hands-on pelvic Physical Therapy. We hope you leave here empowered to take control of your pelvic health, fertility, and your life.

What my patients have to say:
"I have been struggling with painful intercourse and urinary problems for years. I got to the point where I saw a urologist, gynecologist, and endocrinologist, but the person who helped me the most was Dr. Melissa. She really listened to me during each of our sessions and helped me get my life back throughout the past few months. I am now able to pee without feeling like my pelvic floor is tight, and I am back to pain free sex and feeling like myself."
